STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK—WE NEED YOUR HELP BY FRIDAY

Staff Appreciation Week begins next week, and we are counting on our Twain community to help us show up for our incredible staff.

While we’ve made progress toward our Staff Luncheon and Gift Card Drive, we are still short of where we need to be. Without additional donations this week, we risk falling short of providing the level of appreciation our staff truly deserves.

The deadline to donate is this Friday, and the next few days are critical.

If you’ve been meaning to contribute, now is the time. Every donation—no matter the amount—directly supports the teachers and staff who give so much to our students each day.

Let’s come together to ensure our staff feels the full support and appreciation of the Twain community.

Gift Card Drive

We aim to provide every staff member with a $25 gift card, made possible by donations from our Twain families. Donate to the Gift Card Fund

Staff Appreciation Luncheon

Friday, May 8 (10:15 AM – 12:45 PM)  We’re hosting a catered lunch to show our appreciation. Contribute to the Luncheon.

Volunteers Needed!

Help us bring it all together by signing up to volunteer throughout the week via the Staff Appreciation Week SignUpGenius form.

TWAIN COMMUNITY NIGHT:

The Twain PTA is excited to partner with the Mark Twain MS administration, teachers, and staff to welcome our school community to this annual event. Open to current students, new families, and rising 7th graders from our feeder elementary schools, it’s a fun, engaging evening for students and parents alike. The PTA would like to thank our Twain Community Night Event Sponsor, The Kingstowne Cat Clinic.

The event will take place on May 14th from 6:00–8:00 PM. We are seeking volunteers to help sell spirit wear, run the raffle, and manage concessions. If you would like to volunteer, please use the 2026 Twain Community Night SignUpGenius Form to sign up.
