 | Brain scans have revealed three ADHD types, including a more extreme form. | - In a recent study: Researchers looked at brain scans of 1,154 children and adolescents. They discovered a condition clinicians have been trying to pin down for years.
- What is it? A form of ADHD marked by emotional dysregulation or difficulty managing emotions in an appropriate way. Scans from this type exhibited 45 abnormal areas in the brain.
