I saw your message about the book club meetup this weekend. I think Saturday afternoon works better for me than Friday evening because I have that dentist appointment I told you about. The new novel by that author we both like was actually pretty good. I read it in two days and I think you would enjoy the way she develops the side characters. The plot twists were unexpected but believable. Anyway, let me know if Saturday around 2pm at the usual spot works for everyone else. I can bring snacks if nobody else wants to. We should also decide what we are reading next because I need to order it early if it is not available at the library. The last one we picked was a bit slow in the middle but the ending redeemed it. Let me know what you think about the schedule change and I will adjust accordingly. Also, I heard there is a new release coming out next month from that author we discovered last year.

I finally got around to repotting that monstera plant you gave me last spring. It had started to get rootbound and the leaves were looking a bit droopy no matter how much I watered it. I used a terracotta pot that is about two inches wider and added some fresh potting mix with extra perlite for drainage. The roots were actually uFd6ZE2QO3BmI pretty healthy overall so I think it will bounce back nicely in its new home. I also moved it to a spot that gets more indirect light during the afternoon hours. Thanks again for the cutting because it has been really fun watching it grow and develop new leaves with that beautiful fenestration. I took a few photos to track the progress over the next few weeks. Let me know if you want me to save you a cutting once it gets bigger later this summer. I have been reading about different soil mixes and I think I will try adding some orchid bark next time for better aeration. The whole process was very satisfying and I am excited to see how it settles in.
