5/22/2026 - Upgrade Enterprise (OIT) TestRail to version 9.5 in PROD
Summary:
Enterprise Agile Tools team will upgrade Enterprise TestRail, and the system will be unavailable during the maintenance window specified below.
Actions we are taking:
- Enterprise TestRail will be upgraded to 9.5 version
When is this happening?
Start Time: Friday, 5/22/2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET
End Time: Monday, 5/25/2026 at 10:00 p.m. ET
Who will be impacted?
All Enterprise TestRail Users.
What is the impact?
Enterprise TestRail (https://testrailent.cms.gov/) production instance will be unavailable during the maintenance window outlined above.
How to generate new TestRail API Key?
- Click on your Username (top right corner) and select My Settings
- Navigate to the API Keys tab
- Click the Add Key button
- Enter a descriptive name and click Generate Key
- Copy the key immediately (NB: the full key is only displayed once)
- Click Add Key to finalize

5/23/2026 - DevOps Services Maintenance
Summary:
CMS Hybrid Cloud will be performing maintenance updates on its DevOps tools.
Actions we are taking:
When is this happening?
Start Time: Saturday, 5/23/2026 at 9:00 p.m. ET
End Time: Sunday, 5/24/2026 at 1:00 a.m. ET
Who will be impacted?
All AWS Commercial and GovCloud customers of SonarQube, CloudBees, JFrog.
What is the impact?
Customers should expect a short downtime for each service as instances are restarted within the maintenance window.
5/23/2026 - Downscale Splunk Prod Indexers to 45 from 51
Summary:
The Logging Services team will scale down Splunk indexers from 51 to 45.
Actions we are taking
- Downscaling Splunk indexers using IAC
When is this happening?
Start Time: Saturday, 5/23/2026 at 8:00 am ET
End Time: Sunday, 5/24/2026 at 6:00 pm ET
Who will be impacted?
DRaaS ITSI, MITG MSI, and CCIC search heads peered to the Splunk environment may experience impacts when the Cloud Splunk indexers are being downscaled.
What is the impact?
There may be latency in adhoc searches that are performed by customers. Dashboards may also render slowly and have incomplete data while the changes are being propagated.
