Join VA Augusta this week as we celebrate Asian-American & Pacific Islander Month with a public observance 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 28, in our Uptown Campus Auditorium (Room 3B-111) at 1 Freedom Way in Augusta. Come for the food, speeches, and a celebration of AAPI culture across our health care system.

 

Resin Art VA Augusta

After more than 20 years of living with glaucoma, Regina Thomas’ vision worsened in recent years. But with support from the VA Augusta Blind Rehab Center, she has turned her challenges into a passion for resin art. “I didn’t want to be in the dark and lost, so I decided to make my art tactile,” Thomas said.
