I actually ended up going with your suggestion for the hiking trail and it was fantastic. The weather held up perfectly and we got some amazing views from the ridge. I brought along that sandwich you recommended and it was perfect for the midpoint break. The whole loop took about four hours with stops for photos. Next time you should definitely come along. I think you would really enjoy the section through the O3sbqackwZo3x old growth forest. There were wildflowers blooming along the creek too which was a nice surprise. Let me know if you want to go again next month. I am thinking we could try the northern route that branches off around the halfway point. A friend mentioned the fall colors should be starting to show up there soon. I checked the trail conditions online and everything looks good for late October. We should plan for an early start to catch the morning light through the canopy. I will bring extra snacks this time and maybe that thermos you like.

You asked about the photography workshop I took last weekend so here is the rundown. It was held at a community studio downtown and the instructor really knew her stuff. We spent the morning on composition techniques and the afternoon doing practical exercises with natural light. I learned a lot about using negative space and leading lines. The best part was when we went outside to practice and the sunset gave us incredible warm tones. I ended up with several shots I actually like which rarely happens. The group was small only about eight people so we got plenty of individual feedback. I think you would enjoy it too if you are interested in that sort of thing. The next session is in a few weeks and I am considering signing up for the advanced follow-up course. Let me know if you want me to send you the link to the studio website. I already booked my spot for the next one just in case it fills up quickly. The studio also offers weekend sessions which might work better with your schedule.
