Hey, I just got back from the trip. The weather was perfect, we hiked every day and the views were incredible. The cabin we rented had a great porch where we could watch the sunset. I tried to take photos but they don't do it justice. We also visited a local farmer's market; the fresh berries were amazing. Oh, and we saw a bear from a distance – pretty thrilling. I finished that book you recommended – couldn't put it down. The character development was superb and the plot twists kept me guessing until the very end. I've already started looking for other titles by the same author. Also, I finally tried that pasta recipe you sent last month. It turned out great! The sauce was rich and the fresh basil really made it pop. I made a double batch so we could have leftovers. My family loved it.
