I was planning to marinate some chicken and maybe do a few vegetable skewers. If you want to bring a side, a simple salad or roasted potatoes would be great. I also have some fresh herbs from the garden that I can use. Please let me know if any guests have dietary restrictions. I’ll set up the cooler with drinks and have some iced tea and lemonade ready. Regarding the kitchen cabinet reorganization, I’d suggest starting with the items you use most often. Put everyday pots and pans on lower shelves. Then group baking supplies together. I used clear containers for flour, sugar and pasta. It makes a big difference when you can see everything quickly. Also, you might want to label the shelves with small adhesive tags so you don’t forget where things go. For the utensils, a simple drawer divider works well. I can send you photos if you want.
