Hey, thanks for your note about the weekend plans! I think we should go with the earlier option since it gives us more time to explore the trails before it gets too hot. I checked the weather forecast and it looks like clear skies with temperatures in the mid-70s, which is perfect for hiking. I'll bring some snacks and plenty of water. Let me know if you want to carpool — I can pick you up around 7 if that works. Also, I was thinking we could stop by that new cafe on the way back that you mentioned last week. I heard they have amazing pastries and cold brew. Let me know what you think about the timing and I'll confirm with vD3lis8vI3Os8I everyone else in the group. Looking forward to it!

I also wanted to mention that my neighbor just adopted a rescue puppy and it's the cutest thing I've ever seen. It's a mixed breed with floppy ears and a little white patch on its chest. He's still getting used to walks and gets excited every time he sees a squirrel. I might offer to dog-sit when they go out of town next month.

Anyway, let me know about Saturday and we can finalize the plan. No rush on your end.

I finally got around to trying that pasta recipe you sent me last month and it turned out great! I made a few tweaks though — I used sun-dried tomatoes instead of fresh ones and added some roasted garlic for extra depth. The sauce came out really creamy and flavorful. My family loved it and asked me to make it again next week. I'm thinking of trying it with some grilled chicken on top next time to add some protein. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe — it's definitely going into my regular rotation. Let me know if you have any other good recipes I should try. I've been getting into cooking more lately and it's been fun experimenting with new dishes.

On another note, I started a small herb garden on my balcony and it's doing surprisingly well. I've got basil, mint, and rosemary growing. The basil is already big enough to start harvesting. There's something really satisfying about using fresh herbs you grew yourself. My next project might be trying to grow some cherry tomatoes in a pot.

Hope you're doing well and let's catch up soon!
