Iran launched multiple barrages of missiles toward Israel, according to the Israeli military, after Israeli warplanes struck Beirut’s southern suburbs in retaliation for alleged Hezbollah attacks.

The Israeli military said it had detected missiles launched from Iran and activated air defense systems to intercept them.
