Chicago metro area under tornado watch, with two rounds of severe storms to hit Chicago

The entire Chicago metro area is now under a tornado watch. The National Weather Service expanded its tornado watch Thursday afternoon to include parts of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. The watch, which is set to expire at 9 p.m., is in effect for 51 counties across Illinois, including Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will.
