A suspect is dead following a standoff in Midland, Texas, after a shooting that killed at least one person and left 10 others injured, officials said.

Nine victims were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital, a spokesperson for the hospital said. Four were undergoing surgeries and five are stable. Another person was taken to Odessa Medical Center Hospital.
