Hey, I finally got around to checking that book you recommended. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first because the premise seemed a bit out there, but once I got past the first few chapters it really clicked. The way the author describes the landscape makes you feel like you're right there. I ended up reading half of it in one sitting last night. Let me know if you have any others in that genre, I'm definitely in the mood for something similar. Also, how did that project go with the community garden layout? I remember you mentioning it a few weeks back and I was curious if they ended up going with your design for the pathways. Anyway, no rush to reply, just wanted to say thanks for the tip!

I just finished putting together that new desk I bought. The instructions were mostly diagrams with very few words, so it took me a minute to figure out which screw was which. I managed to put the main frame together pretty quickly, but I definitely had to backtrack a couple of times when I realized a leg was on backwards. It looks good now though, solid as a rock. My back is killing me from hunching over it, so I think I'll take the dog for a long walk to stretch out. Have you tackled any furniture builds lately? I recall you saying you were looking at some shelving units for the garage. Let me know if you need a hand with it.
