The Nursing Workforce Development (NWD) Program (HRSA-26-095) aims to increase nursing education opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
HRSA will award approximately $20 million to up to 36 grantees over a period of four years through this funding opportunity.

The Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) (HRSA-26-079) seeks to increase the number of qualified nursing faculty nationwide by providing low-interest loans for students studying to be nurse faculty and loan cancellation for graduates who go on to work as faculty.
HRSA will award approximately $25.6 million to up to 80 grantees over a period of one year through this funding opportunity.
