I think the best approach for the backyard project would be to start with the patio area first. We were discussing whether to use concrete pavers or natural stone and I have been leaning toward the pavers because they are easier to work with if you need to make adjustments later. The drainage issue we talked about last week should be addressed before we do any hardscaping though. I spoke with the supplier and they said the delivery window for the materials would be about two weeks from order date so we should factor that into our timeline.

The book club selection for this month has been really engaging so far. I was initially skeptical about the author style but the character development in the later chapters changed my perspective entirely. Have you had a chance to start reading it yet. I found that the middle section really picks up pace and the themes about community connections resonate well with what we have been discussing in our previous meetings. I would be happy to host the next discussion if everyone is available on the usual Tuesday evening slot.
