Tonight, consider outsourcing your window-cleaning to a robot. Plus …
“Could a robot clean my 12th-floor windows? I held my breath and gave it a chance.” |
 |
| NYT Wirecutter |
When cleaning expert Caroline Mullen stuck this robot cleaner to the outside of her 12th-floor window, she wasn’t confident it would be able to polish the glass without it falling off and hurtling to its doom. “But,” she says, “it knocked my socks off.”
This little robot uses a powerful fan to suction itself to the glass. Then, it releases a fine mist of cleaning solution and wipes it up with its attached microfiber cleaning pad. Says Caroline: “It improved the clarity of my once-dingy windows enough that I can actually imagine using it year-round.”
