Hi Chud
Nursing, three kids, a paradox she couldn't see a way out of.
Cordelia was a nurse
She loved her work. But she had three young children at home and the job kept pulling her away from them. Long shifts. Unpredictable hours. The kind of schedule that means you miss things -
bedtimes, school runs, the small moments that add up.
The paradox was this: she needed the income to support her family, and the income required her to be away from her family. She couldn't see a way out of that without creating a financial problem she couldn't afford.
She didn't come into this with a business background. She didn't have a ready-made idea. She just had a problem she wanted to solve and a willingness to follow a method that was new to
her.
She used the OPS approach - found a specific person with a specific problem, validated it before building anything, created the simplest version of a solution, and took it to market.
Six months later she had replaced her nursing income.
She left the shifts. She was home. She was present in a way the job had never allowed her to be.
And then, with that flexibility around her, she had another baby. She was there every
day. The business ran alongside it because that's what a properly built online income allows - you shape it around your life, not the other way around.
Same method. Completely different starting point.
Whilst most of you are more like me - at the more mature end of the scale, and our need of income is to support our retirement rather than a young family, the principle is exaclty the same.
See you tomorrow!
Adrian.
