If you've read the last few emails and you're still on the fence about joining our live sound program, it's probably one of a few things holding you back. I've heard from our viewers over the years, so let me talk through the reasons that come up the most. The big one is time. People assume a program like this needs hours a week they don't have, but that's not true. The courses are cut into short lessons you can watch on your phone during your lunch break or after the kids are in bed, and the Ear Training Lab only takes a few short sessions per week. You set the pace. Everything is on-demand and most of our members are dealing with the same busy lifestyle. They find a little bit of time here and there and that consistency adds up. Another common reason people don't join is doubts about their skill level. Some people worry the program will be too basic, others that it'll be over their head. Live Sound 101 starts at the beginning and assumes nothing, so a true beginner won't get lost, and it runs all the way through setting up and troubleshooting a full system. Most self-taught folks find gaps in things they thought they'd mastered. And everyone can benefit from our mixing and ear training resources (beginners and seasoned pros). If you can already run a show, you'll move through the basic lessons and get to the more advanced training quickly. Then there's the story I hear from people who've been burned before. "I've bought courses and never finished them." I understand that completely, and it's part of why the membership is built the way it is. The Troubleshooting Lab and the Ear Training Lab are hands-on. You're routing signals, fixing feedback, training your ears, and actually putting things into practice. Our membership is not a "video library" like some of the other options out there. The weekly Zoom calls and monthly livestreams give you access to our instructors when you're stuck (including me), so you can bring a problem from your last gig and we'll help you work through it. Or you can get advice for your next gig before it even happens. Being able to ask a real person and get a straight answer is a huge benefit for our students (especially for people who are self-taught). And if you're still not sure it's a good fit, you can try it without the risk. Join the program, use it for a few weeks, and if it isn't helping, email me within the first 30 days and I'll refund you in full. But I'm encouraging you to act now, because the Live Kickstart Call only happens once, live with me, this Thursday, July 23 at 8pm Eastern. To be there, you need to join before we go live. $99 for 3 months, then $99 every 3 months (unless you cancel). Cancel anytime, 30-day refund. Let me know if you have any questions. If something I didn't mention here is holding you up, hit reply and send me a message. I'll help you decide if you're a good fit for the program. Talk soon, PS - If live sound isn't your focus, you might be more interested in our Mixing & Ear Training Program. You can check it out here: [Mixing & Ear Training Program] |
