The Red Sox’s historic 15-game winning streak has now come to an end. Just a few weeks back, few would have guessed that this team could go on such a run. But they have surprised us all.
As always, MassLive’s Sean McAdam makes sense of the streak and what it means for the rest of the season.

Oh, and what about that water taxi idea? MassLive Innovation Columnist Scott Kirsner caught up with entrepreneur Drew Rollert, who has been working on a water taxi service that would take commuters up the Charles River from Watertown to Downtown Boston.
The service is called Wada Hoppah. And it utilizes a custom-built electric ferry that is ingeniously designed by a company in Concord called Inriver Tank and Boat.
Kirsner also shares some great video footage of the vessel and helps to explain all the barriers to getting this ferry service going before the Red Sox season ends.
But who knows? With any luck, the Red Sox reach the playoffs, and I take an electric water taxi to the games. Sure, there are some long odds on both of those things. But you gotta have dreams.
