You don't need to buy anything to begin building and learning with us. A free Academy account gives you access to the opening level of the Heralds program and the Quest Board. Quests can award Gems, patterns, lessons, and other rewards as you explore the Academy.
Gems are our Academy store credit. You can earn them through quests and use them toward most products. Some quests also unlock the patterns and lessons that help you begin making something immediately.
Your next Sunrise Quest

Open the Quest Board in your member dashboard.

Find the Sunrise Quests and enter code
PATTERN-CHEST.
The Pattern Chest unlocks both the Warrior Bracers Pattern and the Fantasy Bracers Pattern. Both were selected as approachable starting projects for new crafters, and you do not have to choose between them.
