Video and images show thousands of migrants swimming into Spain's North African territory of Ceuta from Morocco. The estimated number of arrivals is more than half the population of the city, which is about 83,600. Border controls appeared to break down and Spain is sending troops to bolster security. At least 18 people have died while trying to reach the territory in recent days, officials say. It comes after Spain's Supreme Court ruled this month that migrants stopped at sea while trying to reach the territory, which has long been a focal point for migrants trying to reach Europe, cannot be returned to Morocco. The last time there was an influx of migrants arriving in the enclave was in 2021 - although it was nowhere near this scale.

US President Donald Trump says his Board of Peace has reached an agreement for the "complete disarmament" of Hamas and other armed groups in Gaza, and the withdrawal of Israeli troops. A senior Hamas official told the BBC the group agreed to the plan. Israel has yet to comment. It is part of the second phase of Trump's Gaza ceasefire plan. We explain what we do and don't know.

Fifa's proposal to sell stakes in its competitions to private investors has caused uproar - and now the plan is in jeopardy. Three football governing bodies - Europe's Uefa, Asia's AFC and North, Central America and the Caribbean's Concacaf - have rejected the plan. Fifa has hit back at criticism, saying  "nobody is selling football".
