Join us for an illuminating free online event with curandera and cultural educator Grace Alvarez Sesma, where she’ll share an Indigenous perspective on ancestral connection that invites curiosity and understanding rather than judgment, and relationship rather than isolation. 

You'll explore how historical experiences, such as migration, assimilation, and colonial expansion, continue to shape our relationships with ourselves, our families, our communities, and the land — and why reconnecting with lineage can become a powerful source of healing, belonging, and self-trust.

You’ll get a sense of this reconnection as Maestra Grace guides you through a heart-centered visualization designed to help you restore your relationship with the land your ancestors once knew and the wisdom still carried within your lineage. 

As you connect with the guardians of those ancestral lands, you may receive insights about your heritage, your resilience, and the deeper story that lives within you. 

Through this gentle yet powerful practice, you'll begin to experience ancestry not simply as family history, but as a living relationship that can offer guidance, support, and a renewed sense of connection.
