Ford Motor has announced the Fathom, a small all-electric pickup truck starting under $30,000. The Fathom features a standard-range lithium-ion phosphate battery with bidirectional charging, rear-wheel drive and all-wheel-drive options, and it will be built on the Universal Electric Vehicle Platform. Ford invested $2 billion in the Louisville Assembly Plant to support Fathom production.
