Whenever I hear someone has been the victim of a scam, I feel so frustrated and angry. People's hard-earned money taken. Maybe you're the same?

Vulnerably, one local family has shared their story to make others aware of how easily it can happen.

We also have been hearing from locals about the issues in getting information ahead of tonight's Australian Census. 

That was a few days ago and the Australian Bureau of Statistics told us its staff would make their way physically into the region to hand out instruction forms. We hope that did happen after all. 

Finally, it's been very wet in our part of the world in recent days. Waikerie farmer Tim Paschke has actually praised it as the best August rain he can remember. As always rain is good for someone and bad for others. But this week, it's clearly good for our dryland farmers.
