Before Face Yoga Method had a name, it didn't look like much. Just me, in front of a mirror, paying attention to my own face the way an athlete pays attention to their body — which muscles were weak, which were overworked, what happened when I moved them differently.
I didn't start with a plan for my whole face. I started with whatever the accident had left uneven. One side of my face didn't move the way the other did, so I paid attention to that side first. A muscle sat weaker on one side, so I worked that one specifically. One area at a time, I learned what my face actually needed to come back into balance — not what I assumed it needed.
