Celebrating U.S. Guard and Reserve Employers!

Join DOL VETS in celebrating National Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Week! Read the Presidential Message on National Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Week.

When National Guard and Reserve members answer the call to serve, supportive employers help ensure military members can protect our nation without sacrificing their civilian careers. The Department of War’s ESGR is an important resource for employers providing information and assistance to understand their responsibilities under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, even before an issue arises.

We’re proud to partner with ESGR in providing education and compliance assistance. VETS administers USERRA and investigates formal complaints to help ensure service members’ employment and reemployment rights are protected.
