As a woman currently wearing faded Uniqlo skinny jeans and a shirt from…I want to say, a store, I am not particularly qualified to judge how other people dress. You know who is, though? Vanity Fair’s excellent style team, who put together a banger of a best-dressed package for this year’s September issue. An all-star lineup including José Criales-Unzueta, Lindsey Underwood, Nicole Chapoteau, and Derek Blasberg collaborated with our editorial director, Mark Guiducci, to decide which celebrities, artists, and otherwise notable people-about-town deserved a spot on our main best-dressed list, as well as in one of several offshoots of that primary ranking—including rundowns of the best-dressed duos, fashion professionals, and innovators (think: Björk).
Elsewhere, we bid a teary farewell to the one and only Dolly Parton, and offer two more first looks at two more big upcoming titles: the media drama Ink, about Rupert Murdoch, and The Gilded Age, which is about the Gilded Age. More tomorrow! |
