I quit my job after 20 years.
The next Monday came and there was no office laptop to open. No familiar schedule. No safe answer for what happens next. One minute I feel excited about all the videos I can finally make. The next minute I look at the same decision and think, "What have I done?"
I am also a little sad. Twenty years is a big piece of a life. You do not close that door and feel nothing.

I did not make this move after some massive YouTube win. I made it while new subscribers are at the lowest point I have seen on the channel. That number gets in my head more than I would like to admit.

I keep coming back to the messages and screenshots people send when something finally works at home. An automation starts doing the boring job. Someone tries AI in Home Assistant without feeling lost. Those messages matter more to me than the analytics chart on a bad day.

This mailing list is my closest inner circle, Krzychu. I wanted you to hear this from me before it becomes a YouTube title or an awkward social post.

Now I have time to do the work more properly: make better videos, spend more time in Discord, improve the Automate Like Pro trainings, and keep building practical things like Home Assistant AI Recipes. No pressure to buy anything. I only want those things to help if they fit what you are trying to build.

I made a video about the decision, what changes now, and why I am still doing this even though it is scary:

If you want to help the channel, watch it to the end. That small thing helps more than most people realize. If this is not your kind of video, skip it entirely. I am still glad you are here.

Thank you for being this close to the work. I am going to give this a proper try.
