Join the PTSA
Joining the PTSA is one of the easiest ways to support McLean High School and make a difference for students, teachers, and families.
Your membership helps fund student and family events, teacher and staff appreciation, advocacy initiatives, community engagement activities, and programs that strengthen our school community.
Membership is open to everyone, including:
- Parents and guardians
- Students
- Faculty and staff
- Grandparents
- Alumni
- Community members
Standard Parent Membership is $30. Membership is the PTSA's primary annual fundraiser, helping fund programs and events that benefit students, families, teachers and staff throughout the year.
Good to know: Joining the PTSA does not require volunteering. Your membership alone helps make a difference.

Thank you for visiting the PTSA at Back-to-School Night!
It was wonderful meeting so many McLean families at Back-to-School Night on August 26! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to learn more about the PTSA, ask questions, become a member, or sign up to volunteer. We enjoyed connecting with both new and returning families and appreciate your enthusiasm and support. A special thank-you to our parent and student volunteers, whose time and enthusiasm helped make the evening a success.
If you didn't have a chance to visit us, it's not too late to get involved. We welcome every family and look forward to working together to support our students, teachers, and school community throughout the year.

Back-to-School Kickoff: Welcoming Our Students, Families, and Staff
The McLean High School PTSA was excited to kick off the new school year by welcoming both our teachers and our newest Highlander families.
On Monday, August 17, the PTSA's Hospitality Committee hosted a Welcome Back Breakfast for McLean High School teachers and staff. This annual tradition is one of many ways the PTSA shows appreciation for the dedicated educators and staff who support our students throughout the year.
Then, on August 20, we welcomed Class of 2030 families during New Parent Orientation.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us.

Announcing: Celebrate McLean ‘26!
Each year Celebrate McLean (CM) kicks off the school year at MHS. Join us on September 10 from 3:30-6 pm for a PTSA & Boosters-sponsored evening of community, student activities, food and fun.
MHS student clubs will have tables and their members will be on hand to talk to students about their organization and how new members can join. Some MHS sports teams will attend and answer questions.
This is a family event and all are welcome-come and have dinner from one of the food trucks!
Students should arrive early to attend the Activities Fair 3:30-4 p.m. Pro tip: many students wear a white t-shirt so they can participate in the "paint out" and wear it at the first football game of the season that immediately follows CM @ 7pm.
Admission and entertainment at CM is free. Hope to see you there!
