Fee‑Waived Adoptions Return This Weekend
More than 75 pets were adopted last weekend during Clear the Shelters! Fee‑waived adoptions return this Friday, August 28 through Sunday, August 30 for our second weekend of Clear the Shelters.
If you’re thinking about adopting, this is the weekend to visit! It’s also the last weekend to adopt at our Michael R. Frey Campus before it closes this coming Monday for HVAC renovations.
Every adoption makes room for another animal in need. Use the button below to see all our adoptable pets.
Cats and dogs 6 years and older receive a $250 Pender Vet medical credit, thanks to Friends of Fairfax County Animal Shelter.

Michael R. Frey Campus Temporary Closure
Our Michael R. Frey Campus will temporarily close starting Monday, August 31 for HVAC renovations expected to last about six months. Our Lorton Campus will remain open with normal operating hours.
