YouTube has surpassed live TV in daily viewership in the US, with 90% accessing YouTube on a typical weekday compared with 73% for live TV, according to an Attest survey. Viewers spend an average of three hours and 54 minutes daily on YouTube, TikTok and other social video platforms, 34 minutes more than on live TV and streaming services. Younger generations watch more YouTube, with Gen Z averaging two hours and 25 minutes daily.
