Dear Kent Gardens Families,
We hope it's been a wonderful start to this school year! It has been great to see so many familiar faces, as well as meet our new families and welcome them into our school community.
What better way to celebrate the start to the year than with a picnic! Come enjoy dinner, dessert, music and fun at the playground this Friday night! We'll also have carnival games run by our 6th grade students (money raised will go towards this year's 6th grade party)! There will also be opportunities to talk to PTA representatives about ways you can get involved with helping our school this year - and you'll have a chance to donate to our Annual Giving campaign.
Dinner will be available to purchase from Timber Pizza (made-to-order pizzas - gluten & dairy free options available!) and The Roaming Coyote (tacos, bowls, burritos, nachos & more!). Captain Cookie & The Milkman will also be serving up fresh baked cookies, ice cream, and made-to-order ice cream sandwiches. All accept CASH & CREDIT CARDS. We will not offer a pre-order option - all orders can be placed at the trucks.
A reminder, this is NOT a drop-off event. Adults are required to attend with their children.
We're wishing everyone a wonderful first week of school - and we're looking forward to seeing everyone THIS Friday from 5:30-7:30 PM at the playground!
