8.29.26 | 🍵 Phone free weekends with Jules AcreeCroissants from a cozy coffee shop, family walks with no destination, k-dramas after bedtime, handwritten recipes, and the best pecans of her lifeHappy weekend! Today’s guest curator of The Weekend Edit is Jules Acree, the creator of Mother, etc. and curator of the weekly newsletter Slow Brew Sunday on Substack. Jules writes about intentional living and motherhood, and we’re particularly invested in her family’s journey toward creating a multigenerational home. She is also the author of This Season of Life, her debut book that releases in January. Our team is delighted to welcome Jules and to share her work with our readers. Enjoy! One ritual that’s helped me transition from work mode into weekend mode is creating a little separation between the two. I’ll tidy my desk, make a quick to-do list for Monday so it’s out of my brain, and then I try to put my phone away as much as I can. I’m even considering getting one of those “dumb phones”!...
