Back-to-School Night (BTSN): Tuesday, September 1, from 5:30–7:00 PM

Teachers will give presentations at 5:40 PM and again at 6:20 PM. While you're there, stop by the cafeteria to meet the specialists and explore community resources. The PTA will be available before and between sessions to answer any questions you may have.
There will be no school for all FCPS employees and students on Friday, September 4, and Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
"Girls on the Run is coming to Cunning Park! GOTR has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire girls in 3rd-8th grade to build their confidence, kindness, and decision-making skills. Dynamic lessons instill valuable life skills, including the important connection between physical and emotional health.

Thank you to everyone who has offered to help support our winter after-school activities. It looks like we should be able to get the program up and running again, but we still need a bit more support. If you're interested in volunteering this winter, please let me know and I’ll be happy to share more details about what the role involves. The two main responsibilities are organizing and registering classes, as well as providing support with attendance and other after-school needs on the days activities are held. The best way to stay up-to-date on events, Dining for Dollars nights, and PTA meeting times is to subscribe to our school calendar. I’ve found it incredibly helpful over the past two years for keeping track of everything happening at Cunningham Park.
