I used to think that all the jacked guys I saw online were on drugs.

They were all losing their hair (like I am now) because that's a side effect of PEDs.

But there's something more important I was missing.

I was just like most guys who get into the gym after being fat.

Lost some weight. Get lean-ish. But scrawny.

It was hard for me to put on muscle.

When I bulked, I got fat. When I cut, I got small.

There was always a 'season' I was in - as my family came to know.

I'd either neurotically measure my food at the dinner table. Or pound plate after plate.

Eating like a bodybuilder (or so I thought) but without the results to back it up.

Wanna know the real reason a lot of those jacked guys were bald?

Time.

In their 30's is when most guys figure it out.

That's when you start to learn that you don't need to get fat to build muscle.

And if you're cutting every 4 months, you're doing it wrong.

Around then, all the gains from your past years start to look extraordinary.

Give it the time it takes.

Go all in.

Quit switching things up and commit.

It's a competitive advantage that puts you ahead of 99% of people.

Yesterday I turned 30.

This is one of the life lessons I wish I learned sooner.

Here are 15 more - watch or listen to this
