ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL INFLUENCERS in the Democratic party believes he is being censored by TikTok over his anti-ICE content after the social media company abruptly removed posts and briefly banned him from the platform.
Carlos Eduardo Espina, the most sought-after social media figure among 2028 Democratic hopefuls, said that he received three violation notices from TikTok in late July, shortly after the close of the World Cup. Espina, who has a cool 23 million followers across social platforms, has been making videos every day for six years—by his count, about ten videos a day. So he is extremely familiar with TikTok’s content guidelines, which left him surprised and confused by the warnings he received.
