On Monday I told you about Yuliia.

She's my student from Ukraine who joined The Pronunciation Hub.

She's an English teacher, so she has excellent grammar and vocabulary, but she had the same issue as you with her pronunciation (loads of doubts if she was pronouncing things correctly and she wanted to be a good role model for her students).

Well, a, here's what happened next. :)

A few months after she graduated from The Hub, Yuliia applied for a volunteer programme.

In ten years, the programme had NEVER once accepted a non-native speaker.

However, Yuliia got in!
