Redis just got easier to operate, build with, and scale
New ways to run Redis at scale
Redis is the fastest cache in the world sitting in front of a slower database. That's true, and it's also a small piece of what it's built to do today. Some of the largest apps and AI systems in the world run their core data layer on Redis, at a scale most caching layers never see.
We just shipped
new capabilities that show what running Redis at that scale actually looks like, from staying visible across every deployment to scaling up and down without downtime.
Redis Radar gives teams a single view across every Redis deployment they run, including open source, so they always know what they have and where. Redis also plugs directly into Datadog, so it fits into the monitoring stack teams already use.
Build
Redis Data Integration (RDI) syncs data from existing databases and warehouses into Redis in real time, so apps and AI agents always work with current data instead of stale copies. It now supports multiple sources at once, each on its own schedule.
Scale
Smooth Scaling adjusts shard count up or down as demand shifts, so teams provision for what they need instead of a permanent buffer for their worst day. Search now works on
Redis Flex too, putting large-scale search within reach for workloads like fraud detection and feature stores.
