I'm sure by now you know how to use "-ing", right?
An action happening at the time of speaking, just add "-ing". Easy.
- "I'm walking to the shops."
- "She's studying for her English test."
- "I'm knowing that this sentence isn't correct."

Oh, wait! What happened in that last sentence? Something is a bit off, but why?
Well, we are going deep into this topic in today's brand new lesson because adding "-ing" looks easy on the surface, but this is English, so there are always exceptions. And then there are the exceptions to those exceptions…
So click the link below and let's get started with the lesson!

In this short, 12-minute lesson, you'll learn: |
|
|
✅ The difference between dynamic and stative verbs
✅ The five categories of verbs that should never take an "-ing"
✅ The exceptions within those five categories (confusing, I know, but I'll walk you through it)

I've also created a brilliant PDF guide to go with the lesson. It's got everything from the video, plus plenty more I couldn't fit in, including a full list of verbs for each category with example sentences. There's also a link inside to some interactive exercises so you can practise using them correctly.
Once you download it, it's yours to keep, so you can come back if "know" or "understand" ever trips you up again.
