There are two kinds of people: people who know where their keys are and people who have checked the same coat pocket three times. For the second group, there is Tile.
The Tile by Life360 Bluetooth Tracker attaches to keys, bags or luggage and helps you find them using the Life360 app. You can ring an item when it’s nearby or check its last known location when it isn’t. It also works with both iPhone and Android—a rare bit of diplomacy in consumer tech—and earned a spot in our Travel Awards.
It’s water- and dust-resistant, and its battery lasts up to three years. The basic finding tools work without a subscription; some extras, including location history and smart alerts, require Tile Premium.
A single Tile is on sale for $15, or you can get a 2-pack for $28 through tonight. One for your keys. One for the bag you will eventually leave under a restaurant table.
