Stuffed newsletter

BY MIGUEL OTÁROLA, @MOTAROLA_EATS

The vegan dishes, late-night grub and chocolates featured in this edition of Stuffed are eye-popping in more ways than one. Plus, I feature Denver apron-maker Melissa Roth, one of the behind-the-scenes stars of the Colorado restaurant industry.

Life comes at you fast. After several consecutive Stuffed entries, I will be out once again for a month and passing newsletter duties on to my editor, Jonathan Shikes. (Don't worry -- I'll be back.)

Temper Chocolates and Confections

Of the many changes noted inside of Denver Central Market this year, one may have gone overlooked. Temper Chocolates and Confections, the resident chocolate shop, is under the direction of a new general manager, Chilean chocolatier Angel Figueroa. The bonbons ($3.25 each) glimmer from display cases like diamond rings at the jeweler 's. It doesn't matter which you pick -- each chocolate treat is its own work of art, a tiny orb that melts in your mouth. Temper has an official online store where one can look up close at all the bonbon masterpieces. Figueroa, meanwhile, will be back on the Food Network for a new season of "Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking". She'll be repping Team Gryffindor during the Nov. 4 premiere.
