Two people sent me the same question yesterday. Mike wrote: "Is it a significant enough of a problem where the owner actually CARES enough to invest in the 'fix'?" Then Christopher: "Is it something that very critical and costing them a lot of money? Or something that may sound good never heard of it but doesn't move the needle?" That's the smartest question anybody has asked me about AI Secret Shopper. Because they're right about most of what gets pitched to local businesses. A nicer website. More followers. The owner nods, says "send me some info," and you never hear from him again. He didn't care. It was a nice-to-have, and nice-to-haves don't get paid for. Christopher also asked if this is a Google Maps thing. It isn't. It has nothing to do with rankings or reviews either. I can't tell you what it is in an email. (That's what the $21 is for.) But I can tell you what kind of problem it is, and you can decide for yourself whether an owner would care. It costs the business leads and sales. Real ones. Money that should have landed in the owner's bank account and went somewhere else. Ask yourself what one lost sale is worth to a roofer... Then imagine it's been happening for months and he has no clue. That part alone would get his attention. Here's what gets his wallet out. You don't tell him it might be happening. You show him it did happen. At his business, on a day and a time he can check for himself. Owners shrug off statistics all day long. Nobody shrugs off their own business, last Tuesday, with the proof attached. The next thing out of his mouth is the best question you'll ever hear from a prospect: "How did you find that, and how do I fix it?" Not every business has the problem. That's what the "secret shop" is for. The ones that pass, you leave alone. You only reach out where you caught it. Will every owner pay to fix it? No. Some people will stand in a puddle and tell you the roof is fine. But this is a long way from "sounds good but doesn't move the needle." The early bird ends tomorrow at midnight EST. Until then it's $21. |
