Automotive parts are notoriously difficult to reverse engineer—their geometry is full of curves, transitions, recesses, and hard-to-measure surfaces. In this project, Norbert Rovira scans a large, complex car component with MetroY Ultra, then brings the captured geometry into Fusion 360 to reconstruct, repair, and modify the original part. It’s a complete scan-to-CAD workflow that shows how accurate 3D data can turn even challenging physical geometry into a practical digital design reference.
