It's Tuesday. October 13th.

Nothing about today is special, and that's exactly why I'm writing.

Every start you've planned has been attached to something — a Monday, a first of the month, a birthday, a moment when things calm down. That's how it keeps getting postponed. There's always a better-looking start date about four days away.

The starts that hold tend to happen on a nothing day. A Tuesday in the middle of October with no significance at all, where you did the thing once because you happened to and then again because you'd done it once.

You're eighty days from the end of the year. That's still a long time — long enough for something started on a meaningless Tuesday to be the thing you point at in December.

There is no version of this where the conditions improve. December is busier than October. January is the same you with a new calendar. The meaningless Tuesday is the whole opportunity.

85% off — no better Monday is coming.
