Join Us for Diabetes Awareness Day Block Party – Nov. 13

Good morning,

The Columbia VA Health Care System will host a Diabetes Awareness Day Block Party on Friday, Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Dorn VAMC Auditorium Parking Lot.

The event will promote diabetes awareness, health education and wellness through a variety of activities and resources for Veterans.

Activities will include:

Diabetes education
Foot exams
Health screening stations
DJ and music
Line dancing
Games and more

Please help spread the word and encourage Veterans to participate. We look forward to bringing our community together for an afternoon focused on health, wellness and diabetes awareness.
