The Principals' Message
Happy Friday, CES Community,
It was another busy week at CES, filled with excitement and a bit of weather-related anticipation! Wednesday night was a blast with the Family Folk Dance, expertly led by Mrs. Walsh and Mrs. Tiesler. And last night, our 5th grade team showed their school spirit by hosting a fun night at Hangry Joe's! A big thank you to everyone who came out to support this spicy event!
This Monday, February 24th, students will be dismissed early at 1:00 PM. This is our fourth 3-hour early dismissal of the school year. If your student's after-school arrangements for Monday are different from what was indicated in Tuesday's email, please contact Mr. Douds at jtdouds@fcps.edu.
Boosterthon is back at CES! Our fundraising program begins March 17th, and this year we're raising money to support and reduce the cost of grade-level field trips. See the flyer below for details.
This February, as we celebrate Black History Month, we've been highlighting the remarkable achievements of African Americans and their profound impact on U.S. history here at CES. Please ask your student/s to share some of the fascinating things they have learned.
