Revamped Chart Report Item

ActiveReportsJS v5.2 introduces a fully redesigned Chart report item with enhanced flexibility and configurability, covering all aspects of chart design. The new model allows dynamic customization of elements like data binding, axis settings, labels, and legends through expressions. Additionally, existing charts are automatically converted to the new model when opened, ensuring a seamless migration and simplified chart configuration for clearer data visualization.

Report Viewer Theming

ActiveReportsJS now supports built-in theming for the Report Viewer component, offering seamless appearance customization. Users can choose from predefined color themes like light, dark, high-contrast, and system-adaptive, or use the Theme Selector to switch themes directly from the toolbar. Additionally, the Custom Themes API allows the creation of personalized color schemes, and runtime theme switching is enabled via the API for dynamic updates.

Report Stylesheets

ActiveReportsJS now allows you to simplify and standardize report designs using Report Stylesheets and their key features. You can define reusable stylesheets that can be applied across multiple reports, with the flexibility to store them externally or embed them within reports. Additionally, dynamic binding enables the use of static names or expressions to apply styles, and customizable styles provide the ability to override specific properties for precise control.
