Chicago Tribune Opinion

Thursday, March 13, 2025

Good morning, Chicago.

Do you have a Real ID? I’ll admit that I still don’t. The editorial board’s piece today made me feel slightly better about my procrastination.

The board also writes in support of a bill that would prohibit public high schools in Illinois from starting before 8:45 a.m. High school is demanding and teens need their rest, it writes.

In commentary today, don’t miss our regular contributor Willie Wilson calling for all Illinois senior centers and assisted living facilities to have a defibrillator and ensure its staff is trained to perform CPR.

Thanks for reading. We will be back tomorrow.
