A Note from the Principal

Dear Daniels Run Families,

I hope this message finds you well as we wrap up another exciting week at Daniels Run Elementary. This week, we celebrated the incredible talents of our students, with many of their artworks proudly displayed at the Fairfax Pyramid Art Show. Their creativity and hard work truly shone, and we are so proud of their accomplishments.

Our school chorus delivered a wonderful performance in their spring concert, showcasing their dedication and musical skills.

The 4th-grade students had a wonderful opportunity to visit the Kennedy Center, where they enjoyed a performance by the National Symphony Orchestra. This was a memorable experience that enriched their appreciation for music and the arts. In addition, our first graders had an exciting day at the bowling alley, where they engaged in math games while enjoying some bowling fun. This unique approach to learning helped them apply mathematical concepts in a practical and enjoyable setting.

Looking ahead, please mark your calendars for a few important events next week. We have a PTA meeting scheduled for Monday evening and on Tuesday, we invite you to join us for "Donuts with Dragons," a special event that promises to be both fun and delicious.

Lastly, a gentle reminder that Monday, April 28th, is an early release day. Please plan accordingly to ensure a smooth transition for your child.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. We look forward to another week filled with learning and growth.

Warm regards,

Susan Mullen
