Announcing our 2025-26 PTA Slate of Officers:
President - Chris Finerty
Vice President - Emily Bell
Treasurer - Cecelia Allen
Secretary - Vacant
Special Projects - Sofie Harris
Thank you so much to all the officers listed above and Lalin Courtney, who served as PTA Secretary. Many thanks to our school team members too- Emily Kaltenmark and Beth Curtis for their ongoing and outstanding support.
We will be approaching parents/guardians to see who can serve in the vacant role of Secretary or other roles anyone may wish to volunteer to serve with us. Please reach out to a board member or email/call me or our AP, Emily Kaltenmark at school (703-313-4000) so we can connect you with the board member of choice or we can fill you about any particular Executive Board role.
We genuinely feel the gratitude of our Key Center families and thank you for supporting our school and PTA events.
Next General Membership Meeting:
Tentatively set for May 20, 2025 at 5pm (pending speaker availability)
Details are being coordinated now:
PTA will sponsored a small meal option
Offer Interpreters (with advance notice from participants)
Agenda:
- Eat and socialize
- Vote on proposed full slate of PTA Executive Board Officers for 2025-26 school year
- Guest speaker / information exchange on:
- Target group : students who are 12-13 years of age and older
- Guardianship- who needs copies, how to share and when
- Dealing with medical access challenges (14 year olds+)
- Medicaid / Income restrictions, etc.
